T20 World Cup 2012 cricket: India vs South Africa

India vs South Africa T20 World Cup 2012 cricket match will be an interesting and lively match. India has made a smart comeback and that too against its arch rival Pakistan beating them with a huge margin and getting on a high after losing badly against Australia. By the way Australians have beaten both India and South Africa like a true champions while Pakistan is waiting to take on the mighty kangaroos. Their match will begin within a few hours in Colombo , followed by India vs South Africa match at the same venue.

Both are top class cricket teams and the match is not going to be easy to predict as both are in desperate search of victories. India seems to be well prepared to take on South Africa as its last win over Pakistan was very emphatic and one-sided. The team would like to come out with the same performance once again today. But that it not such an easy task.
Indian bowling is among the weakest in the Super eight teams. It is not comparable to Pakistan’s bowling attack and certainly not of the same level as that of South Africans or Australians. Its victories have come with the help of batsmen or part time bowlers who may not always take wickets. On the contrary, South African top order may not perform as poorly against part-timers as Pakistani batsmen performed.
Yuvraj Singh who came in very handy against Pakistani with two wickets may not be as lucky against South Africa today. The same is the case of Virat Kohli who had scalped the wicket of Pakistani skipper Muhammad Hafeez. Indian will thank himself to come up with another seventy run inning against South Africans today nothing more.
On the other hand South African team will be praying that its top order clicks. They have abysmally failed throughout the series and no other team with the exception of minnows did not perform that badly in the tournament. Another bad performance and they headed home with the choker tag perfectly in its place.
Kallis hasn’t been able to perform with the bat or ball. Will he be able to come with a match winning performance? He is a better player than Watson on any day and can change the course of a match with his single performance. But will he do it? It is a bigger question.
